Dr. Xiaoyan Chen is currently the Associate Consultant in Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, and director of Maternal-Fetal Research Institute at Shenzhen Baoan Women’s and Children’s Hospital in China as well as the Adjunct Associate Professor at The Chinese University of Hong Kong.
Dr. Chen has special interest in recurrent miscarriage, recurrent implantation failure, reproductive endocrinology, maternal-fetal interface, embryonic development and endometrial functions. She has received 12 full-grants as principle investigator from 2018 to 2023 and over 60 publications in international peer-reviewed journals, including Cell, Lancet, AJOG. She is the awardee of Young Investigator Award for ASPIRE 2023.
Dr. Chen is a committee member of the Special Interest Group of Implantation and Endometrium, ASPIRE. She is also the section editor of Reproductive Biology and Endocrinology and the editorial board member of BMC pregnancy and Childbirth.
